During my recent stay at the Lodge, I was eager to explore the culinary offerings, especially given my passion for gourmet experiences stemming from my travel consultancy background. The central location made it easy to access nearby dining options, enhancing the experience. While the room was a good size with effective blackout curtains and a spa bath that offered a nice retreat, breakfast options fell short of expectations. A few slices of toast with pre-packed jam and a limited selection did not align with the premium price point of my stay. The hotel's onsite bar and restaurant presented a cozy ambiance, and I appreciated the proximity to local hot pools for relaxation. While the culinary experience has room for growth, the location's convenience and the warm staff made for a pleasant getaway.
